Circumcision Reduces HIV Infection Rates?!

Mass circumcision to fight Aids

South African Aids experts have called for a mass circumcision programme after studies showed it reduced the rate of HIV infection by up to 60%.
Professor Alan Whiteside said all boys born in public hospitals should be offered the operation.
"It is so blindingly obvious that there are real reasons for circumcision," he said at a national Aids conference.

The more one lives, the more one gets to know some of God's hidden wisdom.

I knew that we as Muslims (men) are obliged to have circumcision because of hygiene and health reasons (following Prophet Abraham's instructions as part as our belief), but i never thought it would help reduce HIV infection probabilities.

Sob7an Allah.

Mood: In deep thought...

I don't know. In Cameroon, Ghana, Lesotho, Malawi, Rwanda, and Tanzania, God's hidden wisdom has caused AIDS to be markedly MORE prevalent among the circumcised:
Dr. Petra Boynton

And God did hide over half a male's sensual nerve endings in the foreskin:
British Journal of Urology.

The vast majority of the half-million US men who have died of AIDS were circumcised at birth. Circumcision is no AIDS vaccine.

In fact, what they're calling a success in the Kenya and Uganda trials is this: The African men they circumcised CONTRACTED HIV at a rate SIX TIMES HIGHER than the rate of new infection for African-American men.

It costs the UN just 3 cents to give away a condom.
